2024 Publication Schedule:

1. April 19: Invitation to submit IEEE Paper announced 
2. May 1: IEEE Full Paper due (see requirements, right)
3. May 1-5: Paper reviewed; teams sent revision requests (alternative - make the first draft due May 15)
4. May 15: Teams submit revised papers based on reviews
5. May 22: Teams notified of: paper acceptance; need for copyright transfer, and PDF upload. 
6. May 29: Copyright transfers complete, papers cleared by plagiarism check, teams upload PDFs to IEEE site.
7. June 5: Papers submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore.

Full Paper Requirements

• Limit of 12 pages
• Use the IEEE-WERC Paper Format Template
• Address all comments made by judges during the contest (yes, the reviewers will check this)
• Focus on the technical aspects and remove the economic analysis.
• Include process-flow diagrams with mass/energy balances, as appropriate.

Publication Fees and Registration Discount

Per-paper fee for publication: $50
