2024 Publication Schedule:

1. April 9: Invitation to submit IEEE Paper (Announced at Awards Ceremony)
   
2. May 1: IEEE Paper Draft due (see requirements, right)
3. May 1-5: Paper reviewed;
4. May 6: Teams sent revision requests
5. May 19: Teams submit revised papers
   
6. May 26: Teams notified of: paper acceptance; need for copyright transfer, and PDF upload. 
7. May 30: Copyright transfers complete, papers cleared by plagiarism check, teams upload PDFs to IEEE site.
8. June 6: Papers submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore.

Full Paper Requirements

• Limit of 12 pages
• Use the IEEE-WERC Paper Format Template
• Address all comments made by judges during the contest (yes, the reviewers will check this)
• Focus on the technical aspects and remove the economic analysis.
• Include process-flow diagrams with mass/energy balances, as appropriate.

Publication Fees and Registration Discount

Per-paper fee for publication: $50

Fees Sponsored by: El Paso Chapter of IEEE

Teams will not be charged the per-paper fee, thanks to the generosity of the El Paso, TX Chapter of IEEE.
